Benedict Cassen e o cintilógrafo retilíneo

Benedict Cassen with his rectiinear scanner (1951), a simple scintillation counter that scans back and forth across the patient. The output of the scintillation counter controlled the movement of an ink pen to produce the first nuclear medicine images.
