ASNC2014 will provide educational tracks for all levels of expertise and seniority. This must-attend event supports a multimodality agenda featuring a collaborative educational and research effort across many imaging disciplines to help promote a cost-effective, patient-centered approach to medical care.

Attendees will have opportunities to network with nuclear cardiology professionals, contribute to programs that promote innovation and quality in cardiology imaging; and display their latest products at this meeting through advertising, exhibiting, commercial support and educational grants. Program highlights include:

  • NEW FOR 2014 -- Maintenance of Certification (MOC) sessions available with audience response capabilities. Attend the session and then complete the test for 10 points each. Attendees must be registered with ABIM to obtain MOC points.
    • 2014 Update in Cardiovascular Disease module from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

    • A nuclear cardiology specific module (2014 American Society of Nuclear Cardiology MOC Module 1), submitted to ABIM for approval for an additional 10 MOC points.
       
  • Case-based Ethics lunch session -- following each case presented by junior faculty, a panel of experts and ethicists will discuss and provide opinions on the case.
     
  • International research presentations showcasing the best work from around the world. 
     
  • Policy and practice sessions co-sponsored by MedAxiom will discuss the impact of the changing health care environment and offer opportunities for discussion with experts.
     
  • Numerous case-based sessions focused on concepts fundamental to the practice of nuclear cardiology, and expert panel discussions on cases submitted by fellows. 
     
  • Posters that will be available for review throughout the duration of the meeting.
