ASNC2014: Registration Information and Interactive Program Planner Link


Don't miss ASNC's 19th Annual Scientific Session "ASNC2014" in Boston, MA -- September 18 - 21, 2014. This coveted 4-day educational event will provide sessions on emerging nuclear cardiology research, technology, advances in treatment, performance standards, cardiac PET and SPECT imaging, and much more.

“Maintenance of Certification” (MOC) points: Offered, will be a 10 MOC point session -- 2014 Update in Cardiovascular Disease module from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). ASNC has also developed a nuclear cardiology specific module (2014 American Society of Nuclear Cardiology MOC Module 1) that has been submitted to ABIM for approval for an additional 10 MOC points.

ASNC2014 will provide educational tracks for all levels of expertise and seniority. This must-attend event supports a multimodality agenda featuring a collaborative educational and research effort across many imaging disciplines to help promote a cost-effective, patient-centered approach to medical care.

  • International research presentations showcasing the best work in the field.

ACCREDITATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

Physicians
ASNC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology designates the ASNC2014 CME activity for a maximum of 26.5* AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Technologists
ASNC is a recognized provider of continuing education credit for technologists. ASNC’s Continuing Education (ACE) credit is accepted by NMTCB and ARRT. ASNC2014 has been approved for a maximum of 20.5* ACE Credits for Technologists.

Physician Assistants
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTMfrom organizations accredited by ACCME.

Nurse Practitioners
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCP) recognizes attendance at CE offerings that provide AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTMfor the purpose of recertification.
