The deadline for submission of abstracts and nominations for IPET 2015 has been extended until 28 February 2015

Dear colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to share with you the fact that the IAEA’s ‘International Conference on Clinical PET-CT and Molecular Imaging: PET-CT in the era of multimodality imaging and image-guided therapy (IPET 2015)’, to be held between 5-9 October 2015, has provoked great interest in all the Member States.

The high number and quality of contributed papers submitted so far, as well as the number of already registered participants underscores the importance of nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging as a corner stone of health care in Member States and confirms the central role of the IAEA in the professional development in this field.

Due to the multiple requests for allocation of extra time received from potential participants, for submitting their abstracts and registrations the IPET 2015 Scientific Secretariat has decided to extend the deadline for abstract submission until 28 February 2015.

Please note that, due to organizational arrangements, a further extension of abstract submission deadline will not be possible.

Therefore, I would also like to use this opportunity to encourage all those that still have not submitted an abstract to please do so in the following two weeks – we are more than happy to know about the experience in your institution or Member State.

All abstracts have to be submitted electronically through the INDICO submission platform:

If you need any assistance with submitting your abstract, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Tarik Becic (T.Becic@iaea.org), who will be happy to assist you.

Best regards from Vienna,

Diana Paez
